Almost 3 years ago, we posted about Matthew's first trip to Happy Hollow. In the intervening years, it has been totally remodeled and turned into a young child's amusement park, complete with a little roller coaster. Although he is not normally one to leap enthusiastically into new experiences, Matthew LOVES amusement park rides. His preferred rides are those that make his tummy feel funny. The first time we went I took both boys by myself. Since Owen is still too small for many of the rides, Matthew had to go on them by himself, including the roller coaster (which he begged repeatedly ride). He had absolutely no problems. The roller coaster was deemed scary but he was willing to try it again with his Dad when we came back with Stewart a few weeks later.
At this point, Owen prefers walking around and exploring to rides. But he still enjoyed the carousel and driving a police car.
