We went out to Rengstorff park while Stewart and Robin worked on dinner. As usual, we had to keep Owen from breaking up a soccer practice (he keeps trying to make off with the cool looking blue soccer balls). Owen loves slides, he will go down on his belly on his own or sitting up with some assistance. He can actually walk up the slide himself if it's not too steep but has a clear preference for being lifted to the top. Lucky for him, his Grandpa was happy to oblige. After dinner John opened presents. We gave him foldable water and food bowls so they could more easily take Cinza hiking. Matthew thought the water bowl made a very nice hat (see below).

Uncle John's Birthday
Last weekend was John's birthday. My parents flew out to visit as well so we were able to put together a nice party. One of the things we did was to make sure we got photos of my parents and the kids. Everyone was very cooperative about having their picture taken and both John and my father contributed photos to the series below.
