Gina's Pics

This is a photo of Gina and the boys.  Gina is great and the boys are having a terrific time with her. She has taken them on many adventures, found parks I'd never heard of, solved the vexing problem of how to get Owen back to sleep when he wakes up too early and even seems to have a handle on Mr. Mischief. She has a Blackberry and sends us photos of their latest adventures. The top two photos are taken at Bol Park in Palo Alto.

Matthew has settled down quite a bit lately and life has gotten much calmer. Even so, Mr. Mischief does occasionally pop in for a visit. One evening, Gina was putting Owen into his PJs  and Matthew was in the bathroom getting ready for his bath. When she came in two minutes later to run his bath, she discovered that Matthew had unscrewed the top of the baby wash, filled it with water, given it a good shake, poured it all over the bath rug and was hopping up and down on it making it squish. When asked just what he thought he was doing, he replied, "Making bubbles" with his patented, "I'm innocent yet so naughty!" look. The bath soap is now out of reach....

For a long time, Matthew's favorite toy was "Mac" the tractor-trailer truck from the Cars movie. He is the proud owner of 3 different versions of Mac - Red, Yellow and Orange - and a Mac shaped play tent. We have long conversations in the car about whether this truck or that truck is bigger, taller etc. Lucky for Matthew, Gina's husband Joel drives an 18 wheel delivery truck. Imagine Matthew's utter delight when Joel invited him to "drive" the truck and operate the back lift.
