Photos from Tahoe

Despite the limitations of a serious drought, we were able to get everyone on skis this winter.  In previous years, Owen was reluctant and uncomfortable on skis. This March, he found his groove and is now buzzing all over the bunny slopes. The day it clicked for him, his instructor had a hard time convincing him to stop for lunch. He says he is done with the day care program and wants to go skiing instead.

Matthew made considerable progress this year as well. We enjoy skiing with him and were very proud of him for safely negotiating slopes that turned out to be well out his comfort zone. No doubt we will be hearing about how we led him astray for years to come.

Stewart took a snow boarding lesson this year. He enjoyed it so much he may transition to boarding in the future.

The photos below were taken on the North Star golf course during a warm President's day weekend.
