| Cleaning the pool with Granddad |
We had a wonderful time in Kentucky. The cousins picked up where they had left off, building forts, having "surfing lessons" in the pool and generally hanging out.

The relatively cool weather and rain didn't prevent the kids from enjoying the pool. We went to the Science museum, open gym, the movies and Incredible Dave's. The Stockers bravely tried an avocado milkshake. Uncle Brian facilitated another excellent July 4th fireworks display in the driveway. The boys remembered the fireworks from last summer and were thrilled to see them again. This year, they were old enough for sparklers and smoke bombs.

It was a good visit. The older children ran in a pack, largely creating their own entertainment and predictable drama. At 8 months, Chase looked ready to join the group just as soon as he figures out the walking thing. They all did a wonderful job of wearing out their grownups!
