Matthew so enjoyed his first experience camping in the garden we decided to do it again. Having failed to make it to REI and buy enough sleeping bags, we made do with what we had at home. After Stewart and the boys put the tent up we filled it with a large air mattress, Matthew's inflatable sleeping bag, several comforters, pillows, 2 wormys, one bear, fleece blankets, snugglies and flashlights. By the time we were done, our tent more resembled a small bouncy house than a camp site and was treated accordingly. These photos show the three milliseconds that the boys weren't either bouncing or playing musical beds. When things did finally settle down ~ 9 PM, we had a reasonable night despite the bright moon and having failed to turn off the sprinklers (doh!). Matthew had a blast, Owen remained dubious probably because he had to make do with a fleece blanket nest rather than an inflatable mattress. We'll see about next year....
