Owen in the snow

Owen is a trooper.  A ski trip for such a little guy is a lot of new things and changes. He took strange beds, strange potties, strange gear, new places, gondolas and being left at day care in stride. He did draw the line at ski boots. Even the beautiful Samantha from the boot rental place with her gentle encouragement and seductive accent couldn't convince him to keep them on. Rather than push it, we sent him to day care where he was much happier.

This photo on the right is from Tubing. When we arrived, Owen was overwhelmed by the bright sun on the snow and everything else. He immediately transformed into a wilting limpet until his father plopped him in a Tube and shot him down the run. By the end of the session, he wanted to go by himself, had figured out when and how to get in and out of the tube and became angry with anyone who tried to help him.
