The boys were ghosts for Halloween this year. Because preschools now invite students to wear their costume for an entire school day (or days!), wearing a sheet with eye holes cut in it seemed impractical. The plan was to have the sheet from the neck down and put on white face paint and powder their hair. Paint and powder were roundly rejected by the ghosts in question. As a result, many neighbors mistook them for angels :)
