Owen at 8 months is quite a charmer. He likes a party and communicates by blowing raspberries, shaking his head back and forth and a series of little clucks and chirps. He is still relatively relaxed but he's starting to assert himself a bit and seems to want to do things for himself. Like Matthew, he loves to eat but he is more discriminating about what goes into his mouth. He is much happier if given the opportunity to feed himself and has quickly worked up to bread, peas, cheerios and the like. He is desperate to crawl and seems very close. It is easy to see his frustration at not being able to position himself the way he wants to. He is very interested in all that people are doing around him. We have taken his Grandma's advice and set up a box of Owen toys in Matthew's room because it's clear that once he's able to get into his big brother's toys, he is determined to do just that. Other milestones include his first (and we hope last) ear infection and being able to chew on his own toes. The following are from an outstanding series of photos that Stewart took on Christmas Day.
